The Rower’s Almanac is the only print publication in the world listing rowing clubs in over 100 countries. In the most recent edition, there are currently over 4,000 rowing clubs in over 130 countries.
The Rower’s Almanac also publishes a business directory of everything rowing: boat manufacturers, oars, rowing clothing, rowing docks, rowing jewelry, rowing art, rowing machines and equipment, rowing insurance, rowing camps and training and nutrition services.
To date, eight editions of The Rower’s Almanac have been published. The book comes out every two years.

Karen Solem Derringer is Founder and Publisher of The Rower's Almanac. Formerly an elite sculler and four-time U.S. National Champion, Karen now stays connected to the rowing community through the Almanac, and fits in an occasional row on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.

Elmira M. Togliatti is the Almanac's International Editor. Hailing from Bulgaria and Argentina, Elmira is a two-time Olympian ('88 and '92) for Bulgaria. Fluent in six languages, Elmira has lived, rowed and traveled in over 20 countries in Europe, Russia and the Middle East.

Circulation and Distribution
Our circulation for the 2008-2009 edition is 10,000 books. Almanacs are distributed nationally and internationally at regattas, rowing camps, and USRowing's National Learn to Row Day. Almanacs are also sold on our webiste and through Barnes & Noble stores. We work directly with Regatta Organizers to set up our distribution channels.
